My child sleep 10+ hrs but wakes up overnight
Kids 6 years old and under need 10-12 hours of consistent night sleep.
Consistent means solid, uninterrupted sleep. Even if the wake up is quick and you are able to get them down without much effort, that is still disrupted, inconsistent sleep.
Kids should be able to move through all their sleep cycles overnight without waking up at all. You should not be seeing or hearing from them. If you are, they are not getting consistent sleep.
Consistent also means that they sleep this way each and every night for the most part.
