My child isn't interested

That's okay!

- Give the meeting your attention
- Schedule it at a time of day when your child isn't grouchy
- Try to engage them by giving choices and asking questions

After you do that, you can feel confident knowing that you tried your best to involve your child in the new process. But, if they aren't interested and engaged, you can't force it!

You should still outline the bedtime routine and use it as a guide to keep bedtime on track.

Even if your child doesn't seen to be paying attention, they will realize that you're talking about changes at night.

So, you will need to follow through at night for your child to really understand what's going to be different.

Remember, actions speak louder than words anyway.
